Register Now for Synod School 2013!
Pastor Eric has some catalogues in his office for you to see the incredible variety of opportunities for classes, and for the activities arranged for children and youth. Early registration is strongly encouraged as some
classes fill quickly, and housing space is often very tight. This is a great event for people of all ages – young children through great-grandparents. Facilities are accessible to all. And, one of the things Synod School is most notorious for: the food is plentiful and incredible!
The keynote speaker this year is the Rev. Dr. Claudio Carvalhaes. A native of the Presbyterian Church in Brazil, he was also a professor at Louisville Seminary when Paula Tibbs was a student. He now teaches at the Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia PA. Our own John Wagner will also be teaching a course entitled, “How Modern Science Informs our Faith.”

2013 Scholarship Fund Application Announcement
Scholarships are available from the First Presbyterian Church of Eau Claire, thanks to the generosity of Gladys and Gordon Keith and others. The Scholarship Committee in liaison with the Celebration Fund Committee administers the fund.
 Who is Eligible? Any member of the First Presbyterian Church who is enrolled or will be enrolled at an accredited college, university, or technical college course of study during the coming academic sessions is eligible to apply.
Applications must be received by May 31, 2013.

Registration is OPEN for Church Camp!
It won’t be long until over 600 children/youth will be attending Presbyterian Clearwater Forest, our outstanding church camp located in Deerwood, MN.
