Presbyterian Women is a church-wide organization whose membership is open to all women. This organization gives strong support to the mission of the denomination and determines its own leadership, program, and budget. Its purpose is to nurture faith through prayer and Bible study; to support the mission of the worldwide church; to work for justice and peace; and to build an inclusive, caring community of women in faith.
A “circle” is a group of Presbyterian Women who meet on a regular basis for prayer, study, community building, giving, and fellowship. All of our circles support local charities and mission, and warmly welcome new members.
We have three PW circles at First Presbyterian Church:
- Naomi Circle
- Mary Circle
- Agape Circle
